The Nextool KT5509 Taotool is the perfect box opener. And that is also recognised. The TaoTool namely won the ISPO award for best product of 2016/2017.
The blade of this box opener is made from Sandvik steel and enhanced with a Teflon coating. Not only does the blade retain its sharpness well. The coating also ensures that less will stick to your blade. A familiar problem when opening boxes is that it appears to be more difficult due to glue residue left behind on the edge of the blade. This box opener is not bothered by this.
The hook was specifically designed to cut cardboard boxes. Because the cutting edge is located so deep in the hook you don't run the risk of getting into contact with the sharp edge yourself. The blade also won't accidentally close. The Taotool is enhanced with a lockback that locks the blade When you fold the Taotool it is shaped like a key.
