This is a great torch. The white beam is clear, far reaching and tight and gives plenty of range. The modes allow you to choose which strength you need for your purpose. The red LED is not for long distances and is only good for close up work but a convenient an useful feature. It is small enough to be easily handled and the 18650 battery seems to last ages. I am very pleased with this torch and it's a great all rounder.
