The Nitecore NU32 is a lightweight, rechargeable head torch that is super easy to use. There are two buttons on top: one for (neutral) white light, one for red light. Briefly hold down the button for white light to activate the neutral white mode.
Nitecore NU32: what's the difference between white and neutral white?
The neutral white LED has a high CRI value. This means the light colour is very realistic, so it looks quite warm in comparison with many normal LED flashlights. At least it appears that way, because the neutral white LED is neutral (as the name suggests!), and what we consider to be a normal LED beam is a very "cold" light. It can even be referred to as blue light. It is much easier to judge colours with a neutral white beam. A bluish light beam makes it extremely difficult to distinguish between red and brown, or between white and light blue. With a neutral white light beam, you do away with that problem, and just see the colours as they are.
