The Robert Klaas Stockman is a fancy pocket knife made in Solingen. It is made according to the traditional Stockman pattern, but is still really slim. The perfect knife to carry with you when you go out to dinner and order a steak.
The handle on this Robert Klaas knife is made from stag horn. A natural material which looks different on any knife in terms of look and feel. As such each pocket knife is unique! The stag horn has that wonderful old-fashioned look. The ricasso (the flat part just below the edge) has been enhanced with the Hen & Rooster logo: the two famous chickens who unitedly look in the same direction. The bolsters are made from luxurious nickel silver.
This pocket knife has one clip point blade. It can be opened with two hands and is kept in place by a slipjoint. This combination of a two-handed opening and the missing lock enables you to carry this knife with you wherever you might go.
The blade is made from 1.4034-steel, a type of steel that is, in terms of qualities, similar to the more famous 420 types of steel. Stainless, easy to sharpen and retains its sharpness well.
