The Robert Klaas US Canoe is a fancy and traditional pocket knife, made in Solingen. It follows the traditional American pattern of the Canoe pocket knife. Hence the name: US Canoe. The handle of this Robert Klaas knife is made from stag horn. A natural material which makes each knife unique. The side is enhanced with the Hen and Rooster logo: The two famous chickens who unitedly look in the same direction The bolsters are made from luxurious nickel silver.
This pocket knife has two blades. A larger 6.5 cm blade and a smaller 4.5 cm blade. Both can be opened with two hands and both are kept open with a slipjoint. The large blade is enhanced with a halfstop when opening and closing, This combination of a two-handed opening and the missing lock make this knife legal almost anywhere.
The blades are made from 1.4034-steel. This is a type of steel that, in terms of its qualities, is similar to the more well-known 420 types of steel. Stainless, easy to sharpen and retains its sharpness well.
