ik ben een beginner op het gebied van whetstone slijpen, met de 400 / 2000 verdeling kan ik mijn messen een stuk scherper krijgen dan met een mechanische slijper. 

Het formaat van de steen zorgt ook nog eens voor gebruiksgemak bij het slijpen van grotere messen. Het enige wat mist is een antislip voet, maar dat is voor deze prijs niet een groot gemis. 

Kortom zeer tevreden.

Parfaite. Si vous voulez redonner vie à vos couteaux émoussés c'est ce qu'il vous faut. Bien suivre les consignes et regarder un ou deux tutos sur youtube. Merci Wusthof.

Prima steen. Ik heb nog nooit een mes geslepen, maar dat is niet erg lastig. Ik denk dat nog een hogere korrel erbij betere resultaten geeft; voorheen toen ik het mes wegbracht naar de slijper was hij scherper nl. Dat is dus de volgende aankoop!

Bon produit juste un peu cher pour une pierre a aiguiser , vous devriez proposer un guide en français pour l’utilisateur néophyte, ce qui permettrait de ne pas abimer de couteaux avant d'obtenir la bonne technique.
