The blades are made from stainless steel and the ergonomically shaped handles are made from a top-quality type of synthetic plastic. Very hygienic and it offers you extra grip as you cut wet products. The plastic also ensures that the knives are dishwasher proof, but we do not recommend cleaning them in the dishwasher.

## Wüsthof Silverpoint collection


The blades of the knives from the Silverpoint collection are cut from a single sheet of X50CrMoV15. This remarkable production process ensures that these knives are, in comparison to other Wüsthof collections, very affordable. Because of the plastic handles the knives weigh next to nothing. This is an advantage for any amateur chef, but also if you are planning to use the knife for a longer period of time. Because the knives are light-weight and razor-sharp they are easy and amazing to use!

Als je eens een van de Wüsthof messen in handen hebt gehad, dan heb je zin om al het andere weg te gooien. Ik had al zeker 10 jaar zo'n mesje in mijn keukenla zonder te weten welk merk het was. Het is het enige mesje dat ik steeds pakte, waardoor ik keek wat er op stond om er eentje bij te kopen. Ik kan dus weer even vooruit en ben er dolblij mee.

Please note that knives are almost always sharpened by hand, even in factories. This value is therefore only an indication of a single tool measured by us.
