The **Benchmade Mini-Griptilian 556 S30V** is a practical EDC pocket knife, designed by Mel pardue. Ever since its first version many years ago the Benchmade Griptilian is definitely a classic in the knife world. Its ergonomic handle, perfect for both left and right-handed use, combined with different opening mechanisms and blade shapes make the Griptilian a legend in the pocket knife world.

 This Benchmade 556 Mini-Griptilian has a droppoint blade. You open it with the double thumb studs after which it is locked by Benchmade's famous Axis-lock. The handle is made from Valox. This is a brand name for a specific type of FRN (glass-reinforced nylon) which feels great in hand, is strong and doesn't weigh too much. In 2019 Benchmade decided to upgrade from 154CM-steel to CPM S30V steel making the Mini-Griptilian even better. CPM S30V is one of the few types of steel that is specifically developed for knives. It retains its sharpness well, and is very corrosion resistant.

Scherp en heel snel geleverd. Iets prijziger dan een ‘gewoon’ zakmes, maar je krijgt er wel iets voor terug!
Heel degelijke materialen, mooie open- en sluitactie. Alles aan dit mes voelt en toont stevig en premium.

Erstaunlich ist bei diesem Mini im Gegensatz zu manch anderem Benchmade Mini (Osborn, Bugout..) das Mini nicht als zu klein spürbar.
Größe ist hier noch optimal.
Also Kleiner aber immer noch Super!!

Top mes. Klein genoeg om elke dag bij je te hebben, maar toch ook het gevoel van een heavy duty mes.

I didn’t just want to write a review because the Benchmade Mini-Griptilian 556-S30V is one of the best in my collection- after several uses it the swivel action to open and the lock pin to close are flawless! It’s become my everyday cable tool knife it’s brilliant!

Also wanted to make the effort to review because the service and customer service from Knives and Tools was just fantastic - highly recommend company and I will be using them again for sure 👍
