The **Le Creuset WT-110** is a beautiful and complete waiter’s corkscrew enhanced with a double lever. This means that you remove the cork in two steps. Say goodbye to broken corks. A spring has been added to the lever to make sure it is very easy to use. On the back of the lever you will find a bottle opener for those rare individuals who prefer another type of drink. The steel handle has been adorned with a stunning piece of wood and on the side you will find a foil cutter you can use to remove the foil that protects the cork when it is ageing in your cellar.

Most people know this waiter’s corkscrew from the name Screwpull. Le Creuset, however, took over this company and the brand itself and has started to transfer all the products to its own range. Fortunately the quality hasn’t changed, merely the name!

This was bought as a present. Beautifully made and will last a lifetime. A quality item  nicely boxed.

So I would say,  yes good opener.   A little hard to push in the handle for step 1 if you have any muscle weakness in left hand, which I have ( though minor) .  

The part to open foil could be better,   But ok. 

Lekker zwaar uitgevoerd en uitstekend afgewerkt. Een handige halssteun die in 2 stappen de kurk omhoog helpt. Hierdoor knikt de kurk niet en is er geen kans op het breken van de kurk tijdens het trekken. Het mesje is licht gebogen en heeft een heel lichte kartel, dat werkt heel goed bij het wegsnijden van de huls.
