The **Ontario SP-10 Raider Bowie** is a large fixed knife, made in the United States. It is based on the classic bowie knives from the Wild West, but with a modern and tactical look and feel. Because the balance is placed in the front you notice that this knife is great at *chopping.* It's blade thickness also inspires confidence. The clippoint blade is made from 1075 carbon steel. A tough type of steel that can handle its own. You can also easily sharpen this steel yourself, even while in the field.



The handle is full-tang and runs throughout the entire length of the handle. The tang is surrounded by a Kraton handle. This is a rubber-like material that offers a lot of grip. In combination with the steel *finger guard* you know you have enough grip.



The Ontario SP10 comes with an effective nylon sheath. It can even handle very broad belts (up to 7 cm) and is MOLLE compatible.

Coltello da campo realizzato in acciaio al carbonio di buona qualità. Molto massiccio ma comodo nell'utilizzo, grazie all'impugnatura in materiale sintetico con tanto grip e morbido abbastanza da ridurre le vibrazioni nel chopping pesante. In sostanza un coltello eccellente per l'uso da campo, top! Rapporto qualità prezzo eccezionale. Knifeandtool sempre ottimo negoziante.

Très bon couteau pour les tâches de camp. Solide et robuste dans la prise en main. Le couteau n'est ni trop lourd ni trop léger. Idéal pour remplacer une hachette et un couteau en un seul outil.

Seul point négatif pour moi est le fourreau livré avec. Pour faire face à la concurrence, Ontario décide d'accompagner le couteau avec un étui en nylon grossier, moche, et encombrant qui ne fait pas justice au Bowie. Heureusement on peut trouver des étuis plus esthétique et pratique compatible avec la longueur de la lame (10 inches); par exemple l'étui jungle bowie de chez Marbles.
Malgré ça le couteau reste excellent pour son prix.

super lame, ni trop lourd ni trop léger. Je graignais un équilibre trop en avant mais il n en est rien. Grosse poignée pour grosse main, antidérapant mais pas trop. Le fourreau est bien mais je vais faire un étui en cuir. Rapport qualité/prix super, avec en plus une belle promo.
