The Opinel Pocket knife with wooden handle. Originally created by Joseph Opinel in 1890 for use by farmers. The Opinel Pocket knife is a famous, yet very cheap pocket knife for everyday use. You can get very small versions or fairly large ones. This No. 08 from the Trekking-series is nicely medium sized. The leather string at the back of the knife is a finishing touch to the design, but also very practical as you can hang the knife on this or tie it something. The Trekking series is available in a number of cheerful colors.  
   


This pocket knife is equipped with the simple but effective Virobloc-lock system. The blade is locked by the ring that can be pivoted around the hinge point. A classic in true sense of the word.

ik kende het product al toen ik het bestelde, en het voldoet ook volledig aan mijn verwachtingen . 

schattig, handig, compact zakmes. Stevig zwart heft met mooie afwerking : lederen touwtje (toch handig soms)
Ik heb deze zwarte gekozen, omdat -volgens anderen- een houten heft uitzet/krimpt indien het nat wordt. Lemmet komt er vlot uit.

Mooi simpel mes, redelijk scherp geleverd (on-ge-lofelijk snel). Doet perfect z'n werk en is wat je van een Opinel kan verwachten maar dan iets mooier afgewerkt.

Ideal für Gartenarbeit......leicht nachzuschärfen


Fijn mes. sluiting draaide in begin wat zwaar, maar een beetje kruipolie deed wonderen.
