As excellent as the first I used on 3 acres run wild. It is quicker and safer to use than a small chain saw and much better for you! My only quibble is that the little 'tooth' at the end of the blade seems to be smaller than formerly. It's invaluable for removing suckers or low branches or thorny weeds: you just tread it down, hook under and pull. No bending. The medieval "by hook or by crook" updated.

The saw is really very well build. Cut branches really very fast without any effort. I test it with new branches and also with old ones (Hard wood) no problem with both kinds. The cut is smooth. If I compare with my old one pruning saws it is class above. I consider buying longer as 2 years as I gave lot of pruning saws at home. All of them of western style. This is the first of Japanese style. I should not wait so long. I have garden of 0.2 hectars of trees and 35 years of pruning experience.
