The **SOG Stout FLK Blackout** pocket knife is very compact. When closed it is not even 10 cm. As such it is a great EDC pocket knife for daily use. It doesn't feel too heavy in your pocket and you can quickly open the blade thanks to the flipper. 

## SOG Stout FLK blade

The blade might seem small, but it is large enough for almost all daily tasks. It is made from CRYO D2 steel. This is D2 steel which was subjected to a special ice-hardening process. Because of this hardness the blade will retain its sharpness for a long time. And yet, D2 is easy to sharpen if, in time, the knife has lost some of its sharpness. To protect the steel and give the knife its black look, SOG added a black coating.

## SOG Stout FLK handle

The handle is made from black coated stainless steel and black G10. This is a rock-solid type of plastic. It can handle falls, shocks and moisture. The finger groove is placed far to the front. As such your hand is located close to the blade. Perfect for precise cutting tasks and controlled use.

The product was lost by GLS so I never got it, but knifes and tools handled the case quickly and issued a refund as soon as it was confirmed lost. 
I will order again in the future for sure! 
3 stars as I have to put something and I never got to see the knife.

Knife well made, with good materials. I confirm the "problem" with the closing mechanism, the lock is too strong, making it a little difficult to close with one hand. Even so, it is recommended
