With the **Work Sharp Precision Adjust sharpening system** sharpening by hand is easier and more precise than ever before. With this sharpening system you end up with reproducible and accurate sharpening results at sharpening angles from 15 to 30 degrees. The sharpening system uses three sharpening stones with different grain sizes. These three sharpening stones are mounted to one rotatable holder. You can quickly and easily select the right sharpening stone without having to remove the holder or a sharpening stone from the system.

## Sharpening angles


With the knob on top of the sharpening system you can easily set the sharpening angle between 15 and 30 degrees. Enough to sharpen almost any knife! The sharpening system shows you the sharpening angle selected on the left side in steps of 5 degrees. The yellow stripes on the right side indicate the intermediate angles. As such you can easily select, for instance, a 21-degree angle. 


## The sharpening stone holder


The sharpening stone holder contains three stones. The first sharpening stone is a [coarse 320 grit diamond-coated sharpening stone](/en/pt/-work-sharp-precision-adjust-replacement-diamond-plate-09dx061-coarse-320-grit.htm) to fix a damaged edge or to change the sharpening angle. The second sharpening stone is a [medium 600 grit diamond-coated sharpening stone](/en/pt/-work-sharp-precision-adjust-replacement-diamond-plate-09dx061-medium-600-grit.htm) to sharpen relatively blunt knives. The last sharpening stone is an [extra-fine ceramic sharpening stone](/en/pt/-work-sharp-precision-adjust-replacement-ceramic-plate-09dx061-fine.htm) to make sure your knives become razor-sharp and also stay like that.


The sharpening stone holder contains a handle to make sure your hand never gets close to the sharp edge of your knives. The metal guiding rod is long enough to also sharpen longer kitchen knives. Think of chef's knife, carving knives or filleting knives.


## The base and the clamp


The entire base is made from sturdy plastic. The result is that the system is not only incredibly affordable, it also doesn't require any maintenance. The clamp and the other important parts are made from metal. The clamp is magnetically attached to the base. In addition, the entire clamp can rotate up to 360 degrees. As such you don't have to remove the knife as you sharpen it. The clamp has enough room for knives up to 5 mm thick. More than enough for even the thicker survival knives. The bottom of the base is enhanced with rubber feet. As such the entire base won't move as you use it on your table or workbench!

Kann ich nur empfehlen, vor allem für Anfänger sehr gut geeignet, leichter Zusammenbau, super Anleitung.
Im Grund genommen kann man nicht verkehrt machen.

Eerste slijpsysteem dat ik heb aangeschaft. Instructiefilmpjes op Youtube zijn duidelijk. Vindt de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding erg goed. Doordat de standaard van kunststof is gemaakt, zit er wel enige beweging in tijdens het slijpen, maar als je met de ene hand slijpt en met de andere het mes extra ondersteund gaat het prima. De duurdere versie zou dit voorkomen, maar voor mijn gebruik van keukenmessen en zakmessen is dit meer dan voldoende! Messen zijn nog nooit zo scherp geweest!

Slim en erg handig om in de juiste hoek in te stellen en dan slijpen maar.

Erg makkelijk in gebruik en werkt eigenlijk feilloos.
De hoek opzoeken kan ook erg makkelijk door je snijkant te kleuren met een stift en met de keramische steen je hoek opzoeken en dan met de grofste beginnen.
Alleen de standaard "stenen" zijn wat beperkt, ik zou de upgrade kit zeker ook aanbevelen.

Please note that knives are almost always sharpened by hand, even in factories. This value is therefore only an indication of a single tool measured by us.
