The **Böker Arbolito Colmillo stag** is a large dagger that will impress even the most experienced hunters. The solid full-tang construction and the double-sided blade ensure that, in addition to being quite remarkable, this dagger is also very functional. This knife is a so-called 'Hirschfänger' or deer catcher. A classic German dagger to kill shot game such as deer and boars. These daggers were mostly used by hunting parties hosted by the German nobility.

## Böker Arbolito Colmillo Stag blade

The blade is enhanced with a double-sided grind and made from ACX 390 steel. This is a strong, tough and stainless type of steel. Great for hunting purposes and easy to sharpen if, in time, the dagger loses some of its sharpness.

## Böker Arbolito Colmillo Stag handle

The handle is made from stag horn. Popular because of its hardness and the nice contrast between the white and dark-brown bone. Deer antlers have been used for hundreds of years for the handles of knives and cutlery, but also other graceful objects. It is mostly the result of the high density and sustainability. It does not absorb water and won't quickly change colour or decrease in hardness. The handle is enhanced with finger grooves and a large bolster for a solid and safe grip. The bolster is made from nickel silver. A silver/gold coloured metal alloy made from copper, zinc and nickel.
