The Böker Cub is a fixed knife, designed by Lucas Burnley. He combined a couple of classic design elements with his modern vision on making knives. As such the Cub is versatile, cool and very usable.
The pointed blade is made from Böhler N690 steel. The hollow grind is properly executed and because of the matt finish it has a low-profile look. The handle feels great in hand. The subtle protrusions around the transition from the handle to the blade ensure that you never accidentally slip and end up on the blade.
The handle is made from a nice piece of curly birch wood. It is a type of wood enhanced with a stunning pattern. This wood is stabilized with green resin to make sure it is almost as strong as plastic.
In the middle of the blade you will find a large 'Tree Brand' logo. An old school logo Böker used often in the past. Now it is back, gilded and all. Like the gilded logo in the handle.
This is the Anniversary Edition to honour Böker's 150th anniversary as a knife manufacturer. Only 150 pieces were made and each has a number.
The Böker Vollintegral Anniversary Edition comes with a leather sheath.
