The Böker German Expedition Knife Classic (GEK) 30th Anniversary is an impressive fixed knife, designed by Tony Lennartz. This knife will immediately bring a smile to your face when you hold it for the first time. This is the special edition to celebrate the 30th anniversary of this model. The bronze coating is unique for this edition and it was only produced 500 times. While stocks last.
The blade and the handle are made from one piece of Böhler N695 steel. As such the knife doesn't only feel solid, it also is. There are, after all, no parts that can break off. The process used to produce this knife is called 'die-forging'. This means that the raw steel is forged in a mould. Not the easiest way to produce a knife, but a very premium way nevertheless.
The N695 steel is technically speaking similar to the famous 440C steel. Stainless and retains its sharpness well, but is also easy to sharpen. A type of steel many other contemporary types of steel are based on.
You can carry the Böker German Expedition Knife in the included leather sheath. It is enhanced with a spacious belt loop to make sure you can carry it diagonally as well.
