With his Pry-Mate model, knifemaker, Jesper Voxnæs, proves that a practically indestructible knife does not necessarily have to be particularly large. When you hold this knife, you can immediately feel that it is made of massive, solid steel. The Pry-Mate boasts a blade thickness of 7 mm. It is truly comfortable to handle, mainly thanks to its deep thumb notches. The hollow ground blade guarantees superb cutting performance, which you would not ordinarily expect from a blade of this thickness. The N690 blade steel remains sharp for a long time and is rust-resistant.  
  


The milled Micarta scales and the deep thumb notches provide an extremely secure grip for any kind of task, and the red fibre liner offers an attractive and elegant contrast to the robust blade spine.  
  

This fixed blade knife comes with a Kydex sheath, which offers a variety of carry options. For instance, it can be used with a Tek-Lok belt clip, which can be ordered separately.

produit tres solide qui fait l'admiration de mes amis

Excellent produit. 
l'émouture est extrêmement fine (comme un rasoir à main) à l'opposé des émoutures scandinaves convexes il s'agit ici d'une émouture concave. Cette émouture facilite l'aiguisage et le fil est diaboliquement mordant. par contre ce n'est pas recommander pour le Bushcraft (avis personnel).
coté assemblage c'est irréprochable. 
coté confort d'utilisation c'est très très bien. le fourreau en plastique (super solide) est un peu juste en dimension : au début j'avais du mal à sortir d'une main le couteau. Mais après quelques entrées/sorties de la lame, cela devient plus aisé. enfin il est impossible de perdre ce couteau si il est rangé dans son étui et que celui ci est attaché à votre ceinture. 
coté prix c'est tout de même un petit peu cher. mais l'acier N690 est tout de même un excellent acier pour coutellerie quoi que peu médiatisé (Made in Europe oblige...).
en bref : un excellent couteau, l'un des plus solide que je possède, bien construit, d'une excellente qualité, qui coupe admirablement bien (je coupe un cheveux dans sa longueur...), quoi qu'un peu cher.

Als mes voor buitenactiviteiten in het achterhoofd is dit een mooi stuk gereedschap.
In combinatie met de tech-lok riemklip is het veelzijdig te bevestigen aan de riem of uitrusting.
Het is voor de geringe grote zwaar uitgevoerd, perfect geschikt om houtjes te splijten voor het aanleggen van een vuurtje.
Er is goed nagedacht over de vorm van het heft en de wijze hoe je het vasthoudt er is daardoor veel grip en controle over het mes.
De rug van het lemmet is dik, toch loopt het uit in een dunne punt. Het mes is erg hard, dat merk je bij het slijpen.
Het behoudt zijn scherpte ook lang, wat prettig is.
Het schaapsvoet vormgegeven lemmet is sterk genoeg om een dichtgespijkerde kist mee open te kunnen wrikken zonder daarbij de snede van het mes te hoeven aanspreken, waardoor deze zijn scherpte behoudt.
Als de rug van het lemmet eenmaal tussen de planken zit is het als een waar breekijzer te gebruiken.
De holle slijping is perfect.
Het lemmet is net lang genoeg om daarna nog eventueel je sneetje brood te kunnen gaan smeren.
