The **Böker Trapper Steam Engine Damascus 115004DAM is a** classic gentleman's knife, made from special materials. You immediately notice the blade and the handle. The blade is made from Chad Nichols Damascus steel. And not just any type of damast: this damascus steel steel is forged by Chad Nichols from parts of old steam machines which, in the past, used to power the tools in the Böker factory. A unique material, specifically used to celebrate Böker Solingen's 150th anniversary.

 Another nod to the past is the material used for the handle. In between the nickel silver bolsters you find wooden scales made from chestnut wood. It perfectly matches the Böker logo with the chestnut tree Böker is known for.

 You open this knife with two hands and when opened the slipjoint makes sure the knife doesn't close when you don't want it to. Please note: it doesn't completely lock the blade like a backlock!

 Only 150 pieces of the Böker Trapper Steam Engine Damascus were made. Each piece is numbered on the spine of the spring. This knife comes in a nice display box.
