The Case Equestrian 144 is a pocket knife specifically designed for anyone who loves horses. After all, in addition to a clippoint blade this pocket knife has been enhanced with a hoofpick. With it you can easily clean the hooves of your horse. Incredibly practical to have around. The blade and the hoofpick are kept in place when opened by a slipjoint. For the construction Case has used the Trapper pattern. The same handle, different contents.
Case Tru-Sharp SS steel
The blade is made from Case Tru-Sharp SS, a stainless type of steel which closely resembles 420HC steel. Characterizing for this type of steel is that you can quickly sharpen it.
Amber Jigged Bone handle
The handle is made from Amber Jigged Bone which is, in fact, cow bone enhanced with an interesting texture. Subsequently it has been given a beautiful colour and a nice polish. This is a classic type of handle material which radiates class and elegance. As a result it completely matches the rest of the Case knives. In this case a Peach Seed texture was chosen.
Case Knives: traditional pocket knives
Case has been making pocket knives since 1889. Each knife is assembled and finished by hand which is unique for an American brand. As such each Case knife is unique. Case knives are very collectable and are great companions to your standard EDC pocket knife. Great as a gift, for yourself and for someone else.
