The **CRKT Ancestor 5930** is a slim pocket knife with a unique look, designed by Darriel Caston. The Ancestor's design is a combination of traditional knife designs, though it has a modern twist. The name 'Ancestor' is a tribute to all the knives that came before this one. The G10 handle looks almost as if it has been around for years already.

Open this tanto blade with the flipper. This action is super smooth thanks to the IKBS ball bearings. When open, a liner lock keeps the blade in place. It is neatly tucked inside the handle. The milled pocket clip adorns the handle.

## G10 handle

G10 is a strong composite material made from glass fibre and epoxy resin, it offers excellent durability and a great grip. It is resistant to general wear and tear, warping and other tough conditions, making it ideal for outdoor and tactical knives.

## D2 steel for excellent sharpness retention

D2 steel is known for its exceptional toughness and wear resistance, making it perfect for knives and tools that need to retain their sharpness for a long time. However, this steel is not very corrosion resistant. This can be easily solved with a bit of oil, though!
