The CRKT Kangee T-Hawk 2725 is a tactical axe developed by Ryan Johnson. This American designer has been an axe specialist for over 30 years. The axe head is made from Japanese SK5 carbon steel. A sustainable type of steel that offers a perfect balance between hardness and sharpness retention. The black coating prevents rust. The back of the axe head can be used like a pickaxe.

Expectations
Out of the box, sharp, well balanced, handle material is great, sheath is practical and durable. That being said, this is not a chopping axe for woods. It could serve as one in emergency, but it's not what it's made for. Pros: Light, well balanced in all grips, really good throwing axe too, sharp and easy to resharpen if needed, SK5 is great material strong and durable for it. Sheath is really good, you can fit it on any Molle platform. Cons: None so far.
