Full description
The CRKT M4-02 is a cool gentleman's knife with EDC ambitions. Every knife enthusiast has heard of the CRKT M16. One of the most popular pocket knives on the market, designed by Kit Carson. What a lot of people don't know, however, is that there is another cool Carson design out there: the M4. This is the production version of that wonderful design.
The great thing about this design is that the CRKT M4-02 looks like a gentleman's knife, but can be used as an EDC pocket knife. The handle is enhanced with G10 bolsters and a handle made from something CRKT calls white bone. It looks incredibly chic. The blade is made from 8Cr13MoV-steel. A great stainless type of steel that is easy to sharpen.
You quickly open the knife with the thumb studs. When opening the knife you are assisted by the great Outburst Assisted Opening. This is a spring which helps opening the knife when you have given the thumb stud the first push with your thumb. This shows you that the knife is made for quick, daily use.
When opened the knife is locked by a solid liner lock. The spine of the handle has been enhanced with a small latch to lock the liner lock. As such it can't unlock when you don't want it to.
