The **Extrema Ratio Shrapnel OG FH** is a compact backup knife that can also be used as a knife for everyday use. The Shrapnel has a distinctive leaf-shaped blade and a high flat grind. The subtle swedge on the spine of the blade is a nice detail.

You can use the plastic sheath to carry the knife in various ways. Horizontally, vertically, or at a 45 degree angle.

## Böhler N690 steel blade

The blade is made from Austrian Böhler N690 steel. This is a stainless steel with long sharpness retention that is also used for surgical tools. N690 is highly durable and can be sharpened until razor sharp.

## Forprene handle

The handle is made from Forprene, a durable thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) which has a rubbery feel. This gives you a firm, comfortable grip on the handle, regardless of the situation you're in.
