The Fox Knives FX-525OL is a cool pocket knife, designed by Bob Terzuola. He is considered to be one of the fathers of the modern tactical knife. For over 30 years his designs are leading in the pocket knife world. This Fox FX-525 is a great example. It is really cool how the olive wood scales are enhanced with subtle shapes. It looks great, and it also ensures that it feels great in hand.

Expectations
My first 'expensive' knife and I'm really pleased with it. I was looking for something with a wooden handle (or cheeks), a leather sheath and was like the knife that my dad's generation used to carry. I wanted it for regular trips to the woods and for hiking/camping and so far it has performed flawlessly. The one-handed action is lovely and it feels solidly made (once the thumbdisc was tightened up a little). The olive pattern isn't quite as pretty as a curly birch perhaps, but still adds a unique design to my knife. Size is great for my fairly large hands. Blade has remained very sharp so far...
