The **HDS Custom EDC Executive High CRI/ High Noon** 200 lumens flashlight is the successor of the HDS systems EDC Executive 250 lumens. The most important difference is the new LED light. This LED light produces a calibrated 200 lumens with a light output of 5700°K that is comparable to a strong afternoon sun. The LED light has a high colour rendering index (CRI) of 93. This means that this LED light can reproduce colours much more accurately than conventional white LED lights.

 The HDS Custom EDC Executive is utilitarian in design, i.e. for usefulness. This means that when you turn the light on you immediately start in the medium light mode. This is a practical amount of light that is not too intensive and will help you save energy. With a double click you switch to the medium-high mode, hold the switch down and the high light mode is activated. You reach the low light mode by shortly pressing the switch three times when the light is on.

 The EDC Executive is just as compact as the other HDS EDC flashlights. The comfortable shape and texture have turned this into a really great flashlight. The tactical click switch is the most sustainable and reliable switch out there, which is also why the Executive is enhanced with this switch.

 To exclude variation between LED lights each LED is individually tested and the power supply is calibrated to make sure the flashlight works according to the specifications. As such HDS flashlights work a lot longer than the value that is listed.

 HDS flashlights go to 0.02 lumens light output. This is unprecedentedly low, and an achievement in itself. The unique HDS algorithm ensures that the shade of the light stays a lot whiter with this amount of lumen than with other similar light modes of competitors.

 HDS is not the only brand that produces solid flashlights, but it is the only brand that produces such solid production flashlights! Quite often the components of a flashlight don't wear out, where it goes wrong is where the components come together. HDS pays a lot of attention to this.
