The Imperial Large Stockman Cracked Ice IMP14L is a classic slipjoint pocket knife. This Stockman has three blades: a clip point, a sheepsfoot and a spey. With its familiar Stockman design, it's a real classic.
The blades are made from 3Cr13MoV. This is a simple stainless steel that's easy to sharpen and therefore perfect for everyone. You open the blades with two hands and a slipjoint then locks the blades in place. Not a real lock, merely some resistance. This means you can legally carry this knife almost anywhere. The handle is made of a material called 'Cracked Ice', a kind of acrylic with a metallic graphic, reminiscent of ice.
For traditional multi-blade knives, the specifications are based on the largest blade.
Imperial Schrade Knives
Imperial belongs to Schrade Knives. They make great knives at great prices. This is what Imperial excels at. There are few brands that can compete with these kinds of prices. However, this does mean that the finish might not always be perfect. Nothing major, and definitely in line with the prices.

I am a collector of knives, as in i love looking at them and displaying them. The cost of a knife and its value don't concern me as an investment. The knives i purchased are for me to display. The build quality / value is superb. I am sure they would function very affectively as a daily pen knife.
