The **J.E. Made Combustion** is a tough modern slipjoint. Remarkable about this knife is the robust construction. You don't see this that often in the world of slipjoint knives. When you hold the Combustion you will immediately notice that this knife was made to be used.

 This version of the Combustion had a sleek titanium handle with a stunning ironwood inlay and is enhanced with a S35VN steel blade. A type of steel that retains its sharpness well and is corrosion resistant.

 You easily open the Combustion with the milled nailnick, after which the solid slipjoint mechanism keeps the blade in place. Once opened the handle feels comfortable in hand. The finger groove is perfect for your index finger for the more precise cutting tasks. The top-quality finish is definitely worth mentioning. J.E. Made won't settle for less in terms of quality. And that is clear. Everything is neatly finished and seamlessly put together. Compared to many slipjoint knives the Combustion has been enhanced with a pocket clip.

 The movement, also called the *walk and talk*, is sublime on every knife. The spring on every slipjoint is incredibly strong. As such the blade will never close when opened. Because slipjoints don't lock the J.E. Made knives are perfect in places where carrying a 'locking knife' is illegal.
