Karesuando Karesuando 4007 hunting knife
The Karesuando, Karesuando fixed knife if the 40th anniversary knife from Karesuando. The brand is named after the place where the knives are produced, and the anniversary edition carries the same name. The design is based on a traditional Sami knife.
The Sandvik 12C27 steel blade is enhanced with a scandi grind, a typical Scandinavian way of sharpening to make sure the edge is strong and easy to sharpen. The blade and handle are separated by a nice brass bolster.
The handle is made from raw materials from the surrounding areas of Karesuando. A combination of curly birch and rings made from reindeer antlers. In between these rings and the wood you will also find layers of reindeer skin. The handle is ergonomically shaped and is comfortable in use.
The knife comes with a belt sheath made from cowhide with plastic insert to protect the blade.
