Full description
The Miyabi 5000FCD gyutoh 34681-161 is a chef's knife with a blade length of 16 cm. The knife has been made in the Zwilling J. A. Henckels factory in Seki, Japan.
About the Miyabi 5000FCD collection
The Miyabi 5000FCD collection combines magnificent design with high-quality materials. The knives have an FC61 core, surrounded by 48 layers of Damascus steel. A special Friodur ice-hardening process means that the blades are extremely robust, with a hardness of 61 HRC.
Honbazuke sharpeningThe blade is symmetrically sharpened according to the traditional Japanese Honbazuke method. During this process each knife is sharpened and stropped in three phases. This makes the blade super sharp, and the hardness of each knife means that this sharpness is retained for a long time.
HandleJust like the blade, the D-shaped handle looks spectacular. The black pakka wood, combined with the decorative red ring and beautiful mosaic pin, give the handle a very exclusive look.
Zwilling JapanThe Miyabi collection is produced by Zwilling Japan and is the ultimate combination of German reliability and traditional Japanese craftsmanship.
