Resin bound whetstone 400 grit

This stone uses resin to bind the abrasives, in this case white aluminum oxide.  

It does not soak up water and therefore does not require frequent wetting. Super Stones wear slowly and maintain a constant sharpening effect.  

  
  


Splash with water before and during sharpening, do not soak or store in water.

Great product, a little pricey but seems like it will last a long time. 

Sehr guter Schleifstein der sich wenig abnutzt. Die 10mm Variante ist schon sehr dünn - man sollte sich überlegen auf die 20mm Version zu wechseln da der 10mm Stein fast in der Schleifsteinhalterung verschwindet und somit für mich für ein Schleifen zu flach sitzt.

Samen besteld met een Naniwa 200 op voet.... Bedoeling het voetje van deze te gebruiken voor de naniwa 1000. Dat gaat niet, want de steen is verkleefd aan het voetje. Misschien vermelden waard.  Maar geen probleem, met een natte doek op de 200 te plaatsen blijft de 1000 stevig op zijn plaats er bovenop.
