The Nitecore MH27 flashlight is a very versatile flashlight. The Cree XP-L HI V3 LED light namely provides even, white light with a focused beam. As such you light up a distance of 462 meters. The flashlight also contains a red, green and blue LED light. The red light is great to maintain your night vision, even in combination with night-vision goggles. The green light is great when reading a map in the dark. With the blue light you can easily find traces of blood. As such the light is great for hunting purposes, search ops, camping and for law enforcement.
How to use the NiteCore MH27
The NiteCore MH27 is enhanced with three switches in total. The back of the light contains one switch. The tactical switch has a momentary-on-function. Hold the tactical switch down and the light will momentarily turn the highest mode on. As soon as you completely press down the switch it will stay on. Thanks to the memory of the light it will always start with the mode last used. This also applies to the stroboscope mode. This makes it extra appealing for, for instance, security personnel or cops.
The two other switches are located on the head of the light. You can use it to control the light modes. With the + and - you can switch between the light modes. If you press the + you activate the turbo mode. If you press the - you activate the red light mode. You activate the special modes by pressing both side switches at the same time. As such you reach the stroboscope mode, SOS mode, beacon mode and the red, blue and red/blue flashing modes.

- Ultra-low: 1 lumen, burn time of approx. 708:00 hours
- Medium: 55 lumens, burn time of approx. 28:00 hours
- High: 250 lumens, burn time of approx. 6:15 hours

- Strobe: 1000 lumens
- SOS: 1000 lumens
- Beacon: 1000 lumens
- Red: 13 lumens, burn time of approx. 28 hours

The burn time of the highest light mode is calculated at the moment the lamp is switched on in the highest mode. After 2-3 minutes, the lamp automatically switches to a lower mode due to the temperature regulation.
Charging the NiteCore MH27
The head of the light contains a micro-USB port. A rubber cover ensures that the head is protected against water and dust. A such the USB-port also cannot be damaged. Want to check the battery status while charging the light? A blue charging indicator will show you the charging status. As soon as the battery is fully charged, the indictor will stop.
The NiteCore MH27 uses one 18550 Li-Ion battery (not included). If you don't have time to charge the battery in the meantime, take a spare battery with you. This light namely also works with two Cr123A batteries. To quickly see what the battery voltage is you need to turn the light off. By pressing all three switches at once the battery indicator will blink up to four times. Four times means full, one time means almost empty. This indicator also works in combination with the CR123A batteries.

The NiteCore MH27 comes with one pocket clip, wrist strap, spare O-ring, spare rubber switch cap, tactical ring, micro-usb charging cable, spare USB cover and a nylon holster.
Intelligent protection
If you use the turbo mode for a longer period of time the light will start to heat up. When the light reaches a temperature of 65 degrees Celsius or higher, the light will automatically drop the amount of lumen to lower the temperature. As soon as the temperature drops the light will switch back to the turbo mode.
