The NiteCore P30 is a compact LED flashlight with a gigantic range. The light output of 1000 lumens is more common. Rarely, however, do we see such a compact flashlight with such a large and deep reflector. As a result, this flashlight, only 14.3 cm long, produces a bundle with a range of 618 metres.
The large, smooth reflector bundles all 1000 lumens into a powerful beam of light. Ideal for long distance searching. Think of the hunt or rescue missions. You do notice, however, that such a piercing beam at a short distance can sometimes be a little too narrow.
The NiteCore P30 draws its strength from either a 18650 battery or two CR123A batteries (both not supplied). To prevent rattling of the narrower CR123A batteries, a plastic 'sleeve' is included in which you insert them.
Operating the NiteCore P30 is child's play. The tactical switch on the back of the lamp turns it on or off. You can also use this button to send signals. With the side switch you can switch between the different light modes. It can be that easy. By holding down the side switch when you press the tactical switch, you turn on the battery indicator. The blue LED in the side switch shows the current voltage of the battery or batteries.
