This NiteCore TINI SS absolutely lives up to its name in terms of size. This small keychain flashlight, however, is capable of great things. Enhanced with a CREE XP-G2 S3-LED light the light has a maximum light output of 380 lumens. In addition, it is micro-USB rechargeable. All of these features in a light that is only 4 cm long and weighs 22 grams.
The body of the NiteCore TINI SS is made from stainless steel. Finished with a titanium coating made from PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition). The back of the light is enhanced with a small ring you can use to hang your keyring from. Easy to attach to your bunch of keys.
Small, but powerful
In terms of light the NiteCore TINI SS gives you four different options: Turbo (380 lumens, 15 minutes burn time), High (145 lumens, 1 hour burn time), Mid (38 lumens, 4 hours burn time) and Low (1 lumen, 60 hours burn time). For it you use two switches on the side of the light. An on/off switch gives you access to the 'normal' light. Simply press it down and the light will turn on. With the mode switch you can switch between the High, Medium and Low mode. Want to use the Turbo mode? Press the mode switch down when the light is turned off and within a second you will have the maximum amount of light at your disposal.
NiteCore TINI SS: easy to charge
The NiteCore TINI SS derives its power from the built-in 280mAh Li-ion battery. You can easily check the battery status: press down once on the mode switch and botch switches will light up in blue. If the battery has almost run out it will do this automatically, to signal that the battery needs to be charged. You can easily charge the light via the micro-USB port at the base of the light. A cable is not included, but will already be a part of most households today. For instance to charge a smartphone or tablet. Fully charging the light will take about 1 hour and 45 minutes. Once charged the battery will turn off and the blue indication light will continue to burn.
