The Peak Design Slide is a versatile strap to wear binoculars or a camera. The strap can be used as a sling, neck or shoulder strap. The nylon strap has a width of 4.5 cm and is lined on the inside to make it even more comfortable. Another main advantage is that the two sides of the strap have different features. One side is smooth to make sure you can easily take hold of the pair whenever you might need it. The other side has a silicon grip that ensures that the strap won't slide off your shoulder.
The strap can be extended from 101 to 149 cm. You can easily adjust the strap with the two aluminium locks which you also use to lock it when you have found the desired length. The strap can handle a weight up to 90 kg.
Peak Design 'Anker Link system'
The Anchor link is the short-cut that is placed on the ends of the wrist band. As such you can quickly and safely take out your binoculars and disconnect them. In addition, these links have a colour system that tells you when they need to be replaced. The outside is black, the middle yellow and the inside red. As soon as you start seeing the colour it is time to replace the link.
The nylon strap comes with a hex key, a micro-fibre pouch, four links and an ARCA short-cut plate.
