The Robert Klaas US Canoe is a fancy and traditional pocket knife, made in Solingen. It follows the traditional American pattern of the Canoe pocket knife. Hence the name: US Canoe. This special Beer Canoe has, instead of the second blade, a bottle opener.
The handle of this Robert Klaas knife is made from palissander. A wonderful type of tropical wood that makes the knife look incredibly luxurious. A natural material which makes each knife unique. The side is enhanced with the Hen and Rooster logo: The two famous chickens who unitedly look in the same direction The bolsters are made from luxurious nickel silver.
The blade can be opened with two hands and is kept open by a slipjoint. The large blade is enhanced with a halfstop when opening and closing, This combination of a two-handed opening and the missing lock make this knife legal almost anywhere.
The blade is made from 1.4034 steel. This is a type of steel that, in terms of its qualities, is similar to the more well-known 420 types of steel. Stainless, easy to sharpen and retains its sharpness well.
