The **TOPS Knives High Impact Axe** is, perhaps, the largest full-tang felling axe on the market today. With a total length of, a little over, 50 cm and a thickness of 10 mm it has about 1.6 kg of chopping and splitting power! It comes with a leather sheath.

The handle of the High Impact is large enough to hold with two hands, but because it is still lightweight and small, you can also use it with one hand. Larger than most axes, but smaller than a typical, full-size, axe. Its size makes it perfect when splitting larger blocks of wood, but it is still easy to take with you. And also great for smaller tasks such as producing kindling. 

## Axe head and handle

The TOPS Knives High Impact Axe is made from 1075 carbon steel. As such it can withstand shocks. It also retains its sharpness well. The head and handle are made from one piece. As such the axe is rock-solid. The canvas micarta scales are a nod to the traditional pocket knife designs, but are also typical for TOPS.
