## Wüsthof Classic blade: laser-sharp stainless steel


The forged blade from chromium-vanadium steel(X50CrMoV15) is forged from one piece of steel and is extremely sharp upon delivery. The knife is sharpened according to Wüsthof's PEtec technology. This means that for each blade the sharpening angle is determined with the help of a computer. Afterwards the blade is sharpened with laser precision on a wet sharpening stone. After thorough inspection each knife will leave the production line, for a long life of intensive use. 


The steel is modified as such that it will have a high hardness of 58 Rockwell. As such the knife retains its sharpness for a really long time. Don't worry if your knife loses some of its sharpness, simply move it over a honing steel a couple of times. The result is a razor-sharp knife that is amazing to work with.


## Wüsthof Classic handle: sustainable and hygienic.


 This knife is a combination of a forged blade and a handle made from black POM, an extremely sustainable plastic. This handle can handle any substance found in the kitchen. The handle is traditionally, and of course seamlessly, riveted to the blade with three rivets. As such no dirt can accumulate in between the blade and the handle. The crop will protect your fingers from unwanted contact with the edge. What more could a real cooking enthusiast ask for?


## Wüsthof Classic: the classic Wüsthof collection


The Classic is the most extensive Wüsthof collection. The collection is comprised of 80 different kitchen knives, amongst which different sizes of chef's knives, bread knives and carving knives. Because this collection has most versions of all possible knives, you can easily comprise your own complete knife set. A knife set with a knife block or chef's case is, of course, also a part of the end options.


Both amateur and professional chefs often work with these kitchen knives. They are enhanced with the NSF hygiene mark.

Jammer dat Knives and Tools adverteerd met een gratis schilmessenset bij een Wüsthof messenset en dat je deze er dan niet bij krijgt. Het is inmiddels toch weer enkele weken geleden, maar nog steeds niets mogen ontvangen. Helaas een groot min punt voor Knives and Tools.
