The Benchmade Presidio II is a large pocket knife, designed for the more demanding tasks. Large blade, substantial handle, optimal ergonomics: this pocket knife inspires confidence. The blade is made from CPM S30V steel. An American metallurgical type of powder steel. Sounds difficult, but it is important for you to know that this is high-tech steel with excellent properties for a pocket knife. Good sharpness retention, excellent rust resistance and pretty good to sharpen yourself.

Nice knife, but very hard to break in. coating on lock-pin made it very sticky. After it broke in, it is very nice. Wish it had S35VN and not S30V

Bought this because I wanted to try out a Benchmade. The reason I chose this was the price and the size. The axis lock works really great. So does the ergonomics. I have size XL in gloves and the knife fits my hands perfectly. The ”CF elite” scales feels very sturdy. The blade was perfectly centered. What prevents me from giving a five star rating is that there is a tiny, tiny lateral bladeplay and that the sharpening from the factory only was decent. All things considered I think this is a good knife and I recommend it.
