The **Böker Manufaktur King Cutter Stainless 140533** is a top-quality straight razor. Böker has been producing straight razors for over a hundred years and has an excellent reputation in this field. This *straight razor* is made in the Böker workshop in Solingen, Germany. The King Cutter is one of the best-selling straight razors on the market. It has been produced ever since the start of the 20th century. Its blade height of 5/8" makes it perfect for daily use. Even inexperienced users can easily use this knife. This is the stainless version of the King Cutter.



This straight razor has an *extra hollow* grind with a *ridge*. The extra hollow grind gives you an extremely thin edge which is also a little flexible. This razor is amazing to work with but perhaps not as suited for heavy beard growth. The *ridge* ensures that the spine of the blade is thick enough to be blocked by the handle. In addition, the spine provides support when determining the right sharpening angle while stropping and sharpening.



The handle is made from black plastic. The nickel-silver Böker logo was placed in the side and polished. On the blade you will find the characterizing King Cutter engraving. On both sides of the tang, in between the edge and the handle, grip serrations were added. As such you have a lot of control over the shaving movements.


Böker made sure that this straight razor is ready to be used as it is delivered to your doorstep. This means that it was sharpened razor-sharp and stropped: you can immediately get to work.
