The **Böker SanYouGo** is an outdoor kitchen knife, designed by Jesper Voxnaes. As the name and the shape of the blade already suggest this SanYouGo is based on a Santoku. Only a lot smaller to make sure you can easily take it with you. It is truly a kitchen knife, so not meant for wood work or other tasks.




The 440C steel blade is enhanced with a thin grind, just like a normal kitchen knife. The real difference can be found in the length of the blade and handle. The blade is only 8.2 cm long and the handle is 6.0 cm long. This, however, doesn't mean it is difficult to hold. On the contrary! The blade is caught between thumb and index finger in the traditional way. You fold the other fingers around the handle. As such you have enough grip over the G10 handle.




The Böker SanYouGo comes with a leather sheath. Because you don't carry a kitchen knife on your belt it is not enhanced with a belt loop.

Solide, goed te hanteren mes. Ik gebruik hem als nekmes. Bouwkwaliteit is erg goed, zeer scherp uit de doos. Handvat is net iets te kort voor stevige grip, maar het blad van het mes is lang genoeg om met wijsvinger te grippen.
