The **Case Tear Drop** is a traditional pocket knife, designed by the famous slipjoint maker Tony Bose. When you look at the handle you will immediately understand where the name comes from. The teardrop shape is slim and beautiful. It has a droppoint blade and a pen knife blade, both enhanced with a slipjoint lock.

 ## Case Tru-Sharp SS steel

 The blade is made from Case Tru-Sharp SS. This is a stainless type of steel that is similar to 420HC steel. Characterizing about this type of steel is that you can quickly sharpen it and have a razor-sharp knife.

 ## Sycamore Wood

 The handle is made from *Sycamore Wood*. This is plane wood. The pattern in this wood is very distinctive. As such each knife is unique.
