The **Case Trapperlock** is a traditional pocket knife with the classic Trapper shape, but with a one-handed opening and enhanced with a linerlock. The origin of the original Trapper pattern lies with hunters and poachers.


## Case CV Carbon steel


The blade is made from Case Chrome Vanadium steel, also called CV steel. A type of steel that is praised for the fact that it can easily be sharpened. With only a minimal amount of effort you can end up with a razor-sharp knife. You do, however, have to look out for rust. Long-term exposure to moisture, salt or acids will discolour the blade or even cause rust. Enthusiasts will appreciate that a *patina* will form on the blade over time. This means that the steel will become matte, and grey. As such the knife will get a character of its own and become unique.


## Yellow Synthetic handle


The handle on this pocket knife is made from yellow synthetic material. The yellow colour ensures that the knife definitely stands out, in case you ever lose it, to make sure you will quickly find it. The synthetic material feels great in hand and even feels comfortable in very low temperatures.
