The **Civivi Asticus C2002** is a cool EDC pocket knife, for an amazing price. Because it is long and slim you hardly feel it in your pocket. Until you need it: that is when you will have a 10 cm blade at your disposal. The hollow grind looks amazing. It is thin to make sure the Asticus is amazing to use.



You quickly open this knife with the flipper. It is remarkable that Civivi enhanced this knife with ceramic ball bearings. A feature you often see on knives in a much higher price range. When opened the blade is locked by a solid liner lock. As such your fingers are safe when you use this knife.



## Handle made from brass


Remarkable about this pocket knife is that the handle is made from brass. Quite heavy, but also very decent. Because of the black coating and the applied texture the knife looks really cool. In time brass will form its own patina, making each knife unique.



## D2 steel blade


The blade is made from D2 steel. This is a tough type of steel that retains it sharpness well. You can easily sharpen it yourself which is great if you use it on a daily basis. Do, however, be careful with rust: D2 is not completely stainless. So clean the knife after use, especially when (fruit)acids, salt or moisture came into contact with the knife.
