The **Civivi Baklash C801** is a cool EDC pocket knife, for an amazing price. Because it is long and slim you hardly feel it in your pocket. Until you need it: that is when you will have a 9 cm blade at your disposal. The hollow grind looks amazing. It is thin to make sure the Baklash is amazing to use.



Because of the ball bearings it will quickly open with the help of the flipper. When opened the blade is locked by a solid liner lock. As such your fingers are safe when you use this knife.



## Handle made from brass


Remarkable about this pocket knife is that the handle is made from brass. Quite heavy, but also very decent. Because of the black coating and the applied texture the knife looks really cool. In time brass will form its own patina, making each knife unique.



## Blade made from 154CM steel.


The blade is made from 154CM-steel. This is a good, stainless type of steel that retains its sharpness well. 154CM is also easy to sharpen.

Je suis très satisfait de mon achat, c'est un beau couteau qui vient compléter ma collection. Je l'ai choisi dans la gamme  Baklash, pour sa lame en acier 154cm au tranchant rasoir et les plaquettes en laiton.  Bonne prise en main, son fonctionnement est très fluide et les finitions irréprochables. Pour une utilisation comme EDC, il faudra compter avec son poids de 194g.

The knife is heavy and robust thanks to its vintage/patina brass scales - for Me perfect. Very proper size and ergonomics with regard to the blade and handle. Nice steel 154CM (PCM154 is slightly better but I have no complaints). Strikingly „satisfying” deployment. Minuses: You have to oil the liner lock from Time to Time for smooth deployment, a bit sharp deployment stud but after a few weeks of using that feelig disappears. Very nice folder.
