The **Condor Zhaoka** is an EDC knife with a slim design, intended to be used for a variety of cutting tasks. It'll feel right at home on a farm, on bushcraft trips or during survival activities. The blade has a fake edge at the top. It improves the ease of use when handling game, for example. The false edge decreases resistance during cutting. 

The Zhaoka has a scandi grind, making good use of the width of the blade. The result is a strong knife that is easy to sharpen. The materials the knife is made from are tough and have proven their reliability in tough conditions. The handle is made from micarta and the blade from 1095 carbon steel. The Zhaoka is named after a black wasp found in the Amazon region. The designer of this knife, Nemanja Bogdanov, was stung by this insect when travelling through the jungle. 

## Micarta handle

The handle features micarta scales. Micarta is a composite material from linen and synthetic resin. It looks amazing and offers enough grip. Micarta also forms a sort of patina after a while, making your knife entirely unique. This knife has a red liner between the steel and the handle parts, giving this knife its exlusive looks. 

## 1095 carbon steel blade

1095 carbon steel is so popular because it can take quite a beating. With 1095, you do need to be careful in terms of rust. This is why Condor added a matt black coating to the blade. This means that you only have to worry about the edge, and any wear and tear to the coating. Great when you're out in the field.
