The Condor Compact Kephart Knife 3936.2.57HC is a small bushcraft knife, based on the classic Kephart knife. However, while the original has a blade length of 10-12 cm, this Condor Compact Kephart Knife has a blade of only 6.5 cm. As such this knife is great for small bushcraft tasks, EDC use or food prep while you are camping. As a backup-knife the Compact Kephart Knife is also very practical.
The blade of the Condor Mini Hudson Bay Knife is made from 1095 carbon steel. A strong type of steel that is easy to sharpen and can handle quite a bit. 1095, however, is not completely stainless. As such you need to clean it regularly and add a drop of oil once in a while. The knife has a strong full-tang construction. This means that the thickness of the blade runs throughout the entire handle.
The handle is made from walnut wood. The scales are secured with brass pins. It takes care of the classic look and feel. The Condor Compact Kephart Knife comes in a traditional leather sheath with a belt loop that has enough room for belts up to 4.0 cm.
