The CRKT Fossil is a very strong, solid pocket knife. It's striking appearance does remind slightly of a stainless steel T-rex. The design was made by the Brazilian Flavio Ikoma, who has created a powerful art work with this knife.

It's a nice knife. CRKT made an unique knife which looks stunning and feels pretty good in the hand. I myself have rather large hands but the knife handle fits decent without it hurting or feeling awkward. Although i'm not the biggest fan of flippers this knife flips open like it's an assisted knife. And in place of thumb-studs it has an hole in the blade which works equally as good and compliment the overall styling of the knife. The fact that there's no possibility to switch the pocket clip to the other side is an small minus to the overall score. That and the lettering on the blade but that is more an asthetic bias from myself than an hindrance to the knife's performance. All in all an unique rather large knife with an excellent blade form wich will certainly be an eye catcher everytime you use it.
