The **CRKT Homefront Tactical** is a unique pocket knife designed by Ken Onion. At first glance this knife might seem a little simple: a design that was inspired by knives used during the war, flipper, tanto-blade: that's it. All great until you have used it for a while and decide it needs to be cleaned: that is when you realize what an amazing design this is. You can take it apart in only thirty seconds and reassemble it in the same amount of time. Seriously? Yes, seriously.




This, by Ken Onion, patented Field Strip Technology is so simple it is hard to imagine that it didn't exist yet. Turn a latch, loosen the wheel: open. You clean it and repeat the process, but then reversed. Within thirty seconds it will be fully assembled again. Perfect when you work in surroundings where dirt is a problem. Think of soldiers, mechanics and hunters.



 The blade is made from 4116 German steel. A very tough type of stainless steel. Easy to sharpen, ideal for a knife that is used a lot. The flipper opens the blade with a firm click. When opened the linerlock keeps the blade in place. The handle is made from FRN. This is fibreglass-reinforced nylon. Incredibly strong and light-weight.
