Full description
The ESEE Izula Damascus is a special limited edition version of the famous ESEE Izula. Instead of the standard carbon steel this version is made from damascus. Steel that is formed by two forging two types of steel on top of each other, then folding it. This process is repeated a couple of times until the steel becomes a nice veined whole.
The ESEE Izula is named after an aggressive ant from the Peruvian jungle. This is to emphasize that despite its size you shouldn't underestimate this knife. The ESEE Izula is a versatile fixed knife. It will easily find a place in a bag or backpack or can be carried as a neck knife. Despite its size you can easily hold it. At the back you will find a large opening for your little finger to make sure you have an excellent grip. You could, of course, also make a paracord handle to increase the grip. And if you prefer a real handle ESEE also delivers those as an accessory. This, of course, will make the knife a little thicker.
The included plastic sheath has, like all ESEE Knives sheaths, a great design. The knife is properly secured and won't spontaneously fall out.
Damascus steel looks different on each knife. As a result the knife you receive might not look the same as the knife in the product photographs.
